Rome airports Ciampino / Fiumicino

Most international flights land at the airport Leonardo Da Vinci, better known as Fiumicino, 30 km from the city. The low-cost carriers such as EasyJet and Ryanair land in a secondary airport, quite small, Ciampino, which is 15km from the city.

ROME FIUMICINO

Taxi

The official points of taxi are in Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 from the airport. The trips are by taximeter and a journey to the city center will cost you around 45 €.

Train

The Leonardo da Vinci Express line connects the airport Fiumicino to the Termini train station without stops. There are trains every 30 minutes. Trains run between 6:38 AM and 11:38 PM. The trip costs is 14 €.

Bus

Some bus lines connect the center of Rome to Fiumicino in a more economically, but also slower way, perhaps 1H traveling. The ticket price is 6€, see the schedule on the official website.

 

ROME CIAMPINO

Taxi

Taxis are in the airport exit. Races at Ciampino are per taximeter. Luggage is not charged. To the city center the price is 30 euros. Do not pay more than that, even if it is early in the morning. Link to updated rates here.

Bus

Some bus lines make Ciampino to Termini path. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. The trip costs 6€. See schedules on the official website.
