The Emblem Hotel – Prague

The Emblem Hotel – Prague

Prague has a lot of hotels and is a big challenge to stand out from the others. So, how does The Emblem Hotel do it? Well, in my case it was the design… When I saw that gold bathtub in the library suite I already knew where I wanted to stay during my short visit to Prague.

The hotel has the best location ever! Located in the center of Prague, 50 meters away from the old town square.

The hotel is like a home for travelers and a heaven for locals, dedicated to creating a community in the very heart of the city.

This Lifestyle hotel offers 59 rooms (including 4 junior suites and 3 luxury suites), a chill-out lounge with several “Living Spaces” (The Maharal Club), state-of-the-art restaurant and bar (George Prime Steak), and spa (The M Spa) with an unbeatable rooftop terrace with great views to one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

It has a very relaxing environment, staff are so friendly that they most seem your new best friends in town, always giving you valuable tips for you to explore the city. Surprisingly there is no reception desk but instead they led me to a comfortable seating area for the check-in. The Emblem is a place for people from Prague and from abroad to explore and it is redefining the way we travel entirely.

The building decorated along the Art Deco movement have art pieces everywhere. Each element of design was carefully selected to facilitate the comfort and to allow the guests to enjoy every single detail during the stay.

The list of designers and artists that helped to make the Emblem into what it is today is endless and includes people from all over the world… Aglas Furniture, William Holland, etc, who all came together and made it happen.

Has I told you I was crazy about the bathtub so I choose to stay at the cozy Suite Library. Hosting a private library collection comprised of books on everything from art and literature to science and politics, unfortunately time was not enough to read any book. This dark and private space offers a typewriter, a fireplace, specialized furniture and even a secret passageway that leads to an attic bedroom and bath (where my massive copper bathtub and a walnut, King Double bed was waiting for me).

The Suite Library has 37m2  and is such a cozy and comfort place for writers, thinkers and those who prefer a private living space.

You can also spend some time at The Maharal Club, a private club who is also the Living Room of The Emblem. The club has a total of 4 different “Living Spaces” that are freely accessible to you: The Pantry (also known as The Kitchen), The Salon, The Games Room, and The Drawing Room.

The breakfast was delicious and with a huge variety of organic products. Meals are served at George Prime Steak, a beautifully decorated restaurant that is one of the most famous spot in town.
