Jumeirah Grand HOTEL Via Veneto, Rome
Located in one of the most exclusive avenues of Rome, Via Veneto, this hotel whose doors opened in 2009 is an excellent choice for those looking to stay in the heart of Rome. In 10 minute you will find the Spanish Steps or Triton Fountain. This completely renovated 19th century building mix the luxury of the famous chain of Jumeirah hotels with the Italian tradition.
When arriving at the hotel, the Staff, painstakingly dressed with hats will welcome you to this city hideaway. If there is one thing that stands out here is the friendliness of the Staff, from the first to the last “Ciao”, everyone, especially in the front desk were tireless in satisfying my needs, always suggesting places to visit and things to do.
The hotel has 116 rooms, all beautifully decorated with furniture inspired in the 20s. The bathrooms are all in luxurious white marble and mirrors.
The hotel also has an excellent collection of art… on the walls you can find paintings from Picasso, Dali and Guttuso. On the top floor you will find a terrace with a small pool / hot tub and lounge chairs to enjoy the Italian sun while having a drink at the cocktail bar.
There are 2 restaurants in the building, the Magnolia (which will open on October also with a 5 starts quality dinner), where is served till 11AM the delicious breakfast in a contemporary setting with classic touches such as crystal handmade lamps. Breakfast is buffet but you can also choose à la carte. “Time” is the name of the second restaurant and bar, super cosmopolitan, nowadays one of the trendiest spots in Rome.
In the lower floors you will find the Aqva City Spa, with more than 500m2 this place is a sanctuary for pampering yourself. Designed to transport us to another dimension, the SPA project different colors creating a relaxing environment. Treatments range from aromatherapy, hydro-massage and Vichy shower. The SPA is the only in Rome whose treatments are made with products of the brand Sisley Paris. Take a little time for yourself and visit this SPA and swimming pool.
The hotel has also a gym on the same floor fully equipped with Technogym machines, and a boutique where you can buy everything from beauty products, herbal teas, as well as casual wear.
