The District Boracay is located in the vibrant area 2 of the famous white beach in Boracay. The location could not be more central, it is 120 meters from the D’mall, on the doorstep you will find markets, restaurants, bars, dive companies … and one of the most beautiful beaches on earth. The resort has 48 rooms and suites, pool, jacuzzi, gym, restaurant, lounge (bar / restaurant) on the balcony overlooking the beach, spa and the waters of the Pacific literally just outside the hotel.

 
 

The entrance of the hotel stands out from the rest of the buildings, the decoration is modern, simplistic, and the atmosphere is relaxed, luxurious but with a contemporary vibe. There are four types of room, I stayed in the Premier Suite, a spacious 70m2 room that can accommodate up to three persons. The bedroom is in duplex style, with the bathroom, wardrobes, living room and balcony downstairs, and the mezzanine in the first floor, where you’ll find the King Size bed and a balcony. The bedroom has two plasma TVs. Elegantly furnished, the room provides the desired comfort after a day at the beach. The bathroom is equipped with a spacious shower.

  

The hotel has two restaurants, the Caruso Ristorante Italiano, which offers a huge list of Italian dishes, from pasta to delicious pizzas. The vast wine list will make the experience even more complete. At the end, enjoy a variety of quality coffees from Cappuccino to espresso.

Star Lounge is located on the second and third floor. The restaurant / bar is where breakfast is served (6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.) and the Brunch (10:30 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.)… Known as the best brunch on the island. In fact, this is the first hotel I stayed that offers the brunch till 1PM, which means you don’t need to wake up soon every day to have your breakfast.

A la carte can also be ordered for the lunch. The Star Lounge extends to the third floor, a balcony overlooking the beach where cocktails, gourmet snacks, local beers and Shishaa (you have to try it, it’s the only one on the island and has several flavors available, It looks more like a spaceship, eheh). The bar is all lighted in Led, which gives a relaxed and perfect atmosphere for a fun night with friends.

 
 

  

The Lounge is open until 10 pm, but you can start around sunset with the happy hour, want better than this? The swimming pool is just after the reception, is 15 meters long and have. If you prefer beach, facing the hotel there is a private area with sun loungers and umbrellas. The staff is always around in case you want to eat or drink. The hotel spa offers various treatments and massages, and to be honest, I had the best massage here. The upperhouse signature massage combines the oriental techniques with the western studies, in a mixture of oils that provoke an instant relaxation.
