The badian resort is one of the oldest hotels in the region, it opened its doors in 1982 and was one of the pioneers in the tourism area on the island of Cebu. The hotel has 8 hectares and lies on a private island just 5 minutes by boat from the main island of Cebu. I arrived, left the car in the hotel’s private park with security, picked up the hotel boat and that’s it.

 

You don’t have to leave the island if you don’t want, you can easily stay all day at the white sand beach under the coconut palms, but please go and explore the region and its beautiful treasures.

The hotel has a private beach, swimming pool, wi-fi, spa, games room, a biological garden, international cuisine and a variety of excursions ranging from diving to paddle. There are four types of room, I stayed in Thalasso Pool Villa, a room with almost 100m2 that can accommodate 2 to 3 people. The room also has a huge terrace with private pool with salt water. The bathroom has a wall and glass ceiling overlooking the sea and providing a relaxing bath for those who like to lie down under the stars.

The room also has a minibar, sofa bed, safe, coffee maker, robes and slippers.

 
 


The gardens of the hotel are huge, well manicured and surrounded by nature, you have to be careful not to step on the charming búzios that wander through the grass.

The Spa is beautiful, with a swimming pool, private villas all open with sea views, impossible not to relax. There are many treatments and massages in the menu. The hotel organizes daily yoga and meditation sessions on the beach to combine with the spa treatments and with the delicious menus made with only organic products from the hotel’s own garden, providing a week of detox and relaxation. Guests can visit the garden and even plant a tree.

  

The food is good, during my stay I had the opportunity to eat several dishes, which were convened by the chef of the hotel who has been resident for more than 20 years. Prepare yourself for some entertainment show inspired by Filipino culture after Dinner. The beach has a grassy area, hammocks on coconuts, bar. In the evenings it is still possible to have a romantic dinner under the stars.

The hotel also provides a very interesting activity, planting a tree on the island, the tree is baptized with your own Name and you will be able to see it how much it has grown. What it fascinated me most, was the hospitality and the friendliness of all the staff, 5 stars!!! Even when I left, they all joined in the garden to sing me a song.
